This 5-day foundation training is a deep dive into Zenthai - a conversation beyond words and a distinctive crossroads between the healing arts of Thai yoga massage, Zen Shiatsu and Osteopathic technique; an integration of movement, touch and mindfulness. It explores the poetry within therapeutic touch, a lens into traditional Chinese medicine and is a great opportunity for self-healing in a retreat style teaching model.
In learning a full 90-minute sequence, you’ll be introduced to practical tools and gain valuable knowledge on structural and energetic therapy. For the entire four days you’ll receive and practice technique, also cultivating inner awareness, a deepened sense of touch and enrichment of conscious community.
Who is this training for?
The Zenthai level 1 Training is for anyone who is passionate or curious about the healing arts and would like to explore a practice that moulds the intuitive wisdom and knowledge from different ancient healing traditions into a modern approach.
It is for bodyworkers wanting to up-skill, yoga students and teachers wanting to deepen their own embodiment or the embodiment of others, those wanting to understand energetics and structural therapy, and those interested in diving into the Therapist program.
You do not need any previous experience in yoga or massage to join. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just starting on your journey with bodywork, if you have a passion for holistic healing and a desire to enhance your therapeutic abilities, the Zenthai level 1 Training is for you.

Your Experience
La Ferme du Bois-le-Comte (the farm of the count’s forest) is a gorgeous 19th century farmhouse situated in the Ardennes, in the south-east of Belgium, on the French border. Central in Europe, it can be reached in 1 hour by car from Luxembourg, 2 hours from Brussels and less than 5 hours by train from London, Paris or Amsterdam.
The farm enjoys a superb position in the midst of nature at one of Belgium’s most beautiful, quiet and energetically powerful sites. It is at an intersection of footpaths, near the famous abbey of Orval and GR 129.
The grounds cover 10 hectares: gently sloping hills with old oak trees, full of nice corners to read, lie in the sun or meditate. The old apple tree and the labyrinth are favourite spots.
All meals are from 100% organic, fresh, local and seasonal produce. The farm accommodates for all food preferences and intolerances. Dishes are intended to support the schedule and flow of the retreat with the understanding that food is the primary medicine we need to thrive in a learning environment.
A retreat is neither a vacation nor an escape - it is a total immersion into a new way of being. We realign ourselves with new pathways of thinking and moving, new patterns of waking and sleeping. On retreat, we are being invited into a rare opportunity for spaciousness - honouring the transformation that takes place.
