An intensive workshop for women
with Susannah Darling Khan
Sanctuary is a chance to activate this ancient impulse of women coming together for ceremony, for inspiration, for healing and connection. These days offer an oasis from the circumstances of your day to day life. Coming to Sanctuary gives you a chance to let go, update, resource, restore your soul connection with life and to DANCE into and through it all. This often means tears and laughter abound as we attune to the dignity of our true being and at the same time don't take ourselves too seriously.
Our practice includes Movement Medicine, Embodied Listening, time in nature and ritual. Susannah's skilled guidance offers a subtle and profound space for embodied consciousness, healing and transformation. There will surely be tears and laughter, connection and emerging realisations about the arc of your life and where you are in it.
In the deep women's journey that is Sanctuary, each woman becomes a crafter of ritual, making her own rite of passage and choosing her way of standing at the centre of her own circle. Come if you are willing to feel, to be, to discover more of yourself and others, to update your picture of who you are in this world.
Come and dance!
Susannah Darling Khan has been teaching conscious dance internationally since beginning her training with Gabrielle Roth in 1989. At that time she was a Gestalt Psychotherapist who had studied Anthropology and couldn’t stop the singing. After an 18 year apprenticeship with Gabrielle she and her husband Ya’Acov founded the ‘School of Movement Medicine’. Their work weaves together shamanic and psychotherapeutic wisdom with the discoveries of neuroscience and all they learnt from their time with Gabrielle. It is based in the life affirming joy stream of the dance.
