Tom Monte

Biography

Tom Monte is among the most prolific authors and teachers of natural healing and personal transformation.

In the past 30 years, he has written some 30 books and many hundreds of articles on virtually every area of health. His books have offered healing approaches to physical disease, psychological distress, and spiritual crisis.

His works include The Complete Guide to Natural Healing; World Medicine: The East West Guide to Healing Your Body; The Ten Best Tools to Boost Your Immune System; Natural Prozac and Peak Performance Living, both books on brain chemistry offering natural approaches to depression and anxiety disorders, written with Dr. Joel Robertson; Reading the Body, a book on Oriental diagnosis; The Way of Hope, about the use of diet and spiritual practices to treats immune deficiency and AIDS; and Recalled By Life, with Dr. Anthony Sattilaro. Recalled By life has sold nearly 300,000 copies in its hardback and paperback editions.

For the past 30 years, Tom Monte has lectured and conducted extended workshops for personal transformation throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan. He has been a guest teacher for the East West Center for 20 years. Many people have come to know and appreciate him for his big heart, his wisdom, his therapeutic qualities and his teaching skills. He lives with his wife, Toby, and three children in Amherst, Massachusetts.
