Resilience (5 Rhythms week-end)
5Rhythms is a movement and meditation practice that incorporates many of our life experiences redefined to the simplicity of five different ways of moving and dancing. The 5Rhythms are flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness.
Movement acts just like a medicine on the body. Sometimes through minute movements, sometimes big and outrageous ones. Right across this spectrum of movements healing can take place.
In this weekend we use the 5Rhythms practice as our container for movement. We include tools from Somatic Experiencing® and focus on resilience and self-regulation. We will be personal, and include some of our obstructive life stories that are ready for change and movement.
We work grounded, centered and contained and create a circle with safe boundaries for exploration and witnessing.
