Koninklijk Atheneum is a large school in yellow brick. Note that the workshop entrance is not the main entrance of the school but the entrance of the bicycle storage. There is a public car park on the right side of the school, the bicycle storage is between the school and the car park. Go through the gate, then enther the school through the metal door, go up the large stair case to the second floor. There you go throught the double wooden door to the function hall. At the front there are chairs and coat stands where you can change and leave stuff, the workshop is in the higher part with the large windows.
By public transport:
take tram 10 at Central Station. The stop is in fromt of the Radisson Blu Hotel. You get off at the stop of the Gallifortlei. Walk to Gallifortlei, the first street on the left is the Jan Brochovenstraat.
HASSELT

By public transport:
there are trains from Brussels or Antwerp to Hasselt every half hour, from Brussels it takes an hour, from Antwerp it's 1,5 hours. From Hasselt trainstation there are buses every 5 minutes: H 14, H 31 en H 41 (7 minuten). On foot it's 17 minutes (1300 m): take the Bamplaan towards the city centre and follow until the end, turn right and either take the ring or the Schierveldlaan. Follow the ring for 500 m and turn left into the Guffenslaan or follow the Schierveldlaan until its name changes into the Guffenslaan. Follow the Guffenslaan until the intersection with the Kunstlaan.
By car:
from Antwerp: E313 Hasselt- Liège, exit 28, direction Hasselt city centre (N80 - Sint-Truidersteenweg) till the Luikerpoort (intersection with N20), cross the intersection and follow R70 (inner ring) till Guffenslaan
from Gjent / Brussels / Leuven: from Brussel E40 direction Leuven, then E313 direction, at cloverleaf Lummen take direction Hasselt exit 28, direction Hasselt city centre (N80 - Sint-Truidersteenweg) till Luikerpoort (intersection with N20), cross the intersection and follow R70 (inner ring) till Guffenslaan
from Liège / Namur / Luxembourg: take E42 or E25 direction Liège, from Liège direction Hasselt via E313, take exit 29 direction Hasselt, follow N20 direction Hasselt city centretill R70 (inner ring), turn right on R70 till Guffenslaan
